She was predeceased by: her parents, Kate L. Hines (Johnson) and Charles H. Hines; her brother Stan R. Hines; and her nephew Colin Hines. She is survived by: her spouse Bell Telephone; her children, Kemberly Fairfax (Robert) of New Castle, DE, Shamara Lundy (Hardy) of Wallingford, PA and John C. Holland; her brothers, Daryl Hines, Sr. (Sherry) and Keith Hines (Regina); her sister-in-law Tonya Hines; her goddaughter Jordan Brunson (James); her daughters, Lawanda Swan and Crystal Redd; and her grandchildren, Robert Fairfax (Bud), Jaylen Sa'Mir Holland, Severia and Taylor Miller. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was always ready to make a contribution to every noble cause in whatever way she could, be it cooking a dish, lending a ride, donating her time or funds, and if there was an event, she wrote a poem to commemorate the occasion.
