She is survived by: her siblings, Mattie Mayo of Pittsburgh, PA, Dorothy Dodson of Chester, PA and John Henry Hubbard; her husband Edward Hammond of Oxford, MD; her sibling Paris Edward Hammond of Wilmington, DE.; her daughters, Patricia Marie McMillan of Lincoln University, PA and Roseann Smith (Palm Beach) of Jupiter; her sibling Oaks; her nieces, Mabel Williams of Wilmington, DE and Grace Harvey of Philadelphia, PA; her grandchildren, Denene, Patrice, JaNeen, David, Kristina, Teddy, Keila and Devon Hammond; her daughter Treyna Hammond Key; her niece Denene Hammond Tolbert; her son Paris Hammond; her granddaughter Lita Smith; her great grandchild DeJon Francis; and her brother Sylvester Maness. She is also survived by twenty-one great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
She raised her children to serve and respect God and made sure all 6 had a strong Christian foundation.
