He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Cordell and Lillian S. Cordell (Bumbaugh); his children, Annette Fay Cordell Snively and Ronald E. Cordell, Jr.; his siblings, Dort Olson, Patsy High, Sandra Lee Cordell, Johnny Alberts, Gary Lee Cordell and Robert N. Cordell; and his mother-in-law Helen R. Yoder.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene K. Cordell; his children, Karrina Lawson (Darryle), Terresa McCabe, Misty Pensinger (David Simpson) and Angelique Burkhard; his grandchildren, Nicole Evans, Andrew Pensinger, Kristina Eckert, Angela Stoner, Cody Stevens, Daniel Stevens, Derek Burkhard, Blake Cordell, Kevin Graham, Jamie Scott and Amanda Scott; and his sister Charlotte Cook. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
