He is survived by: his parents, Jeff Berger and Teresa Jo Berger; his wife Jennifer Fickes Berger; his children, Anthony Berger of Bronx, NY, Hailey Berger of Chambersburg, PA and Luke Berger of Chambersburg, PA; his siblings, Trevor Berger (London) of Bronx, NY and Taylor Berger (Jen) of Scarsdale, NY; his grandparents, Helen "Mom Mom" and Jimmy "PaPaw" Jackson of Jackson, MS; his niece Ella Berger; and his nephews, Gavin, Ryan and Jack Berger.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in JT's name to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
