He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter S. Davis and Florence Mowery Davis; his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Shipp; his siblings, Harold Davis, Carl Davis, Jim Davis, Pearl Melius and Helen Oberholtzer; and his grandson Spencer Kegerreis.
He is survived by: his children, Dona S. Kegerreis (Rick) of Chambersburg, Jere R. Shipp (Sharon) of Chambersburg, Lisa S. Hess (Dennis) of St. Thomas and Gina S. Rost (Thomas) of Ft. Myers, FL; his grandchildren, Austin Kegerreis (Candace), Lauren Roberts (Chase), Jere Ryan Shipp (Kara), Hali Cormany (Alex), Coleman Rost, Davis Rost and Lauren Krosley Rost; his great grandchildren, Addilyn Noel Kegerreis, Richard Grayson Kegerreis, Henry Austin Kegerreis, Millie Kate Kegerreis, Payton Elizabeth Roberts, Sophie Mae Roberts, Emory Lee Roberts, Jace Ray Shipp, Anna Joy Cormany and Judah Davis Cormany; and his brother Norman Davis of Greencastle.
