He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter H. Kendall and Elsie Kendall Riggs; his sister Margaret Ellen Kendall; and his close friend Johnnie Greathead. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Thompson Kendall; his sons, Albert Thomas Kendall and Elliott Walter Kendall; his sister Valerie Kendall Kin (John) of Fredericksburg, Virginia.; his nephew Dr. John Kin; his nieces, Elaine Kin and Katherine Kin; his aunt Reiko Renninger Albro; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Thompson, Gail Spiker, Harry and Jimmy Thompson. He is also survived by his many cousins and great nieces and nephews.
