He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cecil and Edith R. Manley Spencer; and his siblings, Ronald S. Spencer and Sara Powell. He is survived by: his wife Mildred L. "Millie" Bonsall Spencer; his children, Patricia (Bill Daddario) of West Grove, Dawn Robertshaw (Bill Petzinger) of Allentown, NJ. and Arthur J. Spencer Jr. of Rising Sun, MD; his granddaughters, Jennifer Robertshaw-Musyt (Jonathan) of Lititz, Jessica Spencer of Rising Sun, MD, Sara Spencer of Rising Sun, MD and Melissa Daddario of Conestoga, PA; his great grandchildren, Jordan and Peter Musyt; his brother Robert P. Spencer of Wilmington, DE; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Spencer of Las Vegas, NV and Gerald Powell of Kennett Square.
