He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia (Sickinger); his children, Robert F. (Mimi Cooper) and Diane S. Carlin (Andrew); his brother Dr. John J. Snyder (Charlene); his grandchildren, Robert F. Jr, Kristen Froncillo (Matthew), Andrew P. Carlin, Matthew Carlin (Caitlin Cassidy), Jennifer Carlin and Jacqueline Carlin; and his great grandchild Cooper Froncillo. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Cornelius Church or Saint Jude's Children Research Hospital.
