We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2021, at the age of 85, Shirley James of Catasauqua, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley James to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband John "Murph" James, Jr.; her parents, James Marx and Mary Ann Marx (Fry); and her siblings, James, Cornelius, Charles Marx and Catherine Brittenburg.

She is survived by: her daughters, Debra (John Moll) of Catasauqua, Patricia DeMentri of Robbinsville, NJ and Karen (Gerald Budny) of Richboro; and her grandchildren, Jason Moll, Nicole DeMentri, Christopher Budny, Katherine Budny, Anna Budny and Elaina Budny. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's name to Alzheimer's Association at 399 Market St., Suite 102, Phila, PA 19106, ATTN: Delaware Valley Chapter.
