He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey L. Jr. Emert and Alice Emert (Henry); his stepfather Ralph Gery; and his brother Richard Emert. He is survived by: his wife Eugenia A. Emert (Menio) of Catasauqua; his children, Jillian K. Emert (Jonathan Keichel) and Harvey L. IV (Tammy); and his sister Lillian Serfass (Wayne).
