He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Maile and Joann Marcavage Maile; and his brother-in-law Thomas McGraw. He is survived by: his siblings, Charlene McGraw of Nazareth, PA, Gary Maile (Tammy Keast Maile) of Monroe, CT, Kristin Maile (Eric Wesenyak) of Briarcliff Manor, NY and Jason Maile (King); and his nieces and nephews, Erica McGraw Flaherty, Kevin McGraw, Michael McGraw, Lauren Maile, Rachel Maile, Evan Wesenyak, Brody Wesenyak, Rose Maile, Lena Maile, Noelle Maile, Aria and Regis Flaherty.
