It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Scalise of Carbondale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 7, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Giacomo "Jake" Scalise and Maria Teresa Scalzo Scalise; and his siblings, Anthony, Dominick Scalise, Mary Cianflone, Rose Molinaro, Carmella Viney, Carrie Fitzpatrick and Angela Galati.

He is survived by: his sister Pauline Cerminaro of Carbondale, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
