He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bein and Anna Kopec Bein; his sister Romaine Kielar; and his daughter-in-law Paula Yatsko Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Grace M. Leonard; his children, John Bein Jr. of Lancaster, S. C., Carmella Bandru (Brian), Grace Bortree (Buddy) and Michael Kennedy; his grandchildren, Cayson Bein, Bryce Bandru, Derek Bortree and Andrea Flannery; and his great grandchild Amelia Flannery.
