He was predeceased by: his parents, John Byrnes and Loretta Foran Byrnes. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hobbs; his daughters, Shannon Cheripka (Dennis) of Powder Springs, GA and Meghan Higdon (Guy); and his grandchildren, Guy, Mason, Ellie Higdon, Isabelle and Paige Cheripka. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
