He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John and Sadie Barrett McHale; his wife Janet McHale (Dick); his children, Gerard "Jerry" Jr., Robert, Mary T (Teri), Michele (Shelly), Lisa and Karen; his grandchildren, Chaney, Ciara, Scott of Miranda, R. J., Mariah, Matthew, Gerard III, Anthony, Jack and Alexa; and his brothers, Pat, Robert McHale and Jack McHale. He was also cherished by 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
