He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Carpenter and Lela Frederici Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Carmella M. Apostolico; his children, Al Carpenter, Jr. and Michele Frisbie; his grandchildren, Mark (Leah), Jessica, Lauren, Tyler, Mackenzie (Angelina) and Samantha; his great grandchildren, Kadin, Kamri, Brock and Kathryn; and his sisters, Romayne Shea and Rosie Packer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
