Howard Dean Dowell Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2020, at the age of 57, Howard Dean Dowell of California, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Oda Faye Dowell; and his siblings, Daniel Gray Dowell Jr. and Brenda Mabe. He is survived by: his father Daniel Gray Dowell Sr. Howard; his children, Tara Dowell of Wilmington, Amber Hege of Florida and Tony Shaw of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, Breana, Brandon, Christopher Counterman, Sunshine Pugh, Marcella Raia, Heaven Stout and Teresa Stout; his former wife Roxanne Dowell of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania; and his sisters, Kathy Dowell of King, Diane Tugman (James) of Tobacco, June Sedoris of King and Darlene Jarrell (Michael) of Winston.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations which will be sent to organizations such as Valor in Howard's name.
