It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick J. Mathews of Brush Valley, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis J. Mathews and Edna I. Mathews (Cray); and his sister Joan Blake. He is survived by: his wife Betty L Mathews (Brown); his children, James Mathews (Sherry) and Pamela Bertolino (Ricky); his grandchildren, Jacob Mathews and Brandi Mathews; and his sister Lynnette Cody of Conklin, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
