She was predeceased by: her parents, Blair A. Smith and Mabel R. Smith (Kramer); her husband Robert J. Sowers; and her brothers, Martin R. Smith and Robert B. Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Allshouse (Mark), Tammy Palmer, Bonnie Lander (Eric) and Kevin Sowers; her siblings, Rose Boozer (Jerry) and Gary Smith; and her grandchildren, Angela Allshouse-Woods, Tony Palmer, Jeremy Allshouse (Tracey), Hannah Lander, Erica Lander and Paige Lander. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
