He was predeceased by: his parents, Spirito Matteoda and Jane Matteoda (Boralis); and his stepson Robert Haring. He is survived by: his wife Ann B. Matteoda (Asch); his sons, Christopher Matteoda (Jackie) of Coatesville, PA and Mark Matteoda of Mohnton, PA; and his stepdaughters, Debbie Matteoda of New Holland, PA and Elizabeth McMullen of Birdsboro, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Frieden's Bible Chapel, 1260 White Bear Rd. Birdsboro, PA 19508.
