He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Kotz and Steve "Skip" Kotz; and his siblings, Debbie Pusateri and Tom Kotz. He is survived by: his fiancée Stephanie Scruggs (Janice Veith); his children, Amanda Marie Kotz and Stephen R. Kotz (Kristan); and his grandchild Lyvia Mae Kotz. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
