He was predeceased by: his wife Janet M. Shartle (Page); and his parents, Adam George and Corine Rebecca Shartle (Himmelberger). He is survived by: his children, Wendy Shartle of Bernville and Todd Shartle of Pine Grove; his grandchildren, Kiara, Isaiah, Malachi and Ethan; and his sister Lou J. Leininger of Pottsville. He is also survived by father, grandfather, and mentor to his grandchildren.
