He was predeceased by: his parent Clair E.; and his stepfather Walter McNary. He is survived by: his parent Helen M. Sink (Litwin); his wife Dorothy Sink (Ludwick); his daughter-in-law David M. Jr.; his daughter Dannette Watson of Atlanta, GA; his son-in-law Jonathan Watson of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Liam Watson, Hunter Lane and Alyssa Lane; his siblings, Robert Sink of Largo, FL, Walter McNary of Waynesburg and Annette Leach; and also, Jeanne Sink of Uniontown, Darrin Sink of Bentleyville, Regis Leach of Monongahela, Dakota and Riley. He is also survived by married July 6, 1967, two sons.
