He was predeceased by: his parents, John Charnack and Blanche Dicienzo Charnack; and his sisters, Lucille Croyt, Jessie Piper and Avalon Cardon.
He is survived by: his sons, Lex Charnack and Toby Charnack of Charleroi; his siblings, John Charnack (Diana), Deanna Bewszka (Steve) of Apollo and Linda Hopton of Charleroi; and his former wife Laurie Lazzari Charnack of Belle Vernon. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
