Garvin Jr. of Beaver, Pennsylvania, born in Rochester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. Sr. Garvin and Pearl Garvin (Canuti); his sisters, Paulette Garvin and Sally Heimbrook; and his son-in-law Francis Leskowicz.

He is survived by: his wife Mary McKinney Garvin; his children, Jean Mahan, Richard Hemer (Lona), Suzette Leskowicz and Thomas Hemer (Heidi); his sister Patricia Nunamaker; his grandchildren, Holynne Steppe, Patrick Steppe (Natalie), Siobhan Monroe (Anthony), Sean Mahan, Shannon Mahan, Conner Mahan, Nicole Leskowicz, Daniel Leskowicz, Tommy Hemer, Nick Hemer and Brooklyn Hemer; and his great grandchildren, James Robert Monroe and Charlotte Jean Monroe. He is also survived by numerous nieces and a nephew.
