He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman "Mike" Hannum and Irene Hannum (Weckerly); his wife Jane Hannum (Whitla); and his son Mark Blakely Hannum. He is survived by: his son Craig J. Hannum; his daughter-in-law Holly Noel Hannum; his grandchildren, Blakely P. (Leigh Hannum) and Hannah Jane (Alex Goff); and also, Colton Blakely Hannum, Jeremiah Woods Hannum and Olive Elizabeth Hannum.
