With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael J. Smacher Jr. of Bear Creek, Pennsylvania, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 14, 2020 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Smacher and Florence Smacher (Kresge); and his brothers-in-law, Martin J. McCallin and Joseph "Rock" Stahovic. He is survived by: his siblings, Ella K. McCallin, Carol Stahovic and Donald Smacher of Forest Hill, MD; his nieces and nephews, Donna Mandl (Karl) of Aberdeen, MD, Lori Chase (Matthew), Donald "DJ" W. Smacher, Jr. (Marla), Bel Air, MD, Rock Stahovic (Robyn) and Plains; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Rebecca Mandl, Ashley Chase, Michael, Matthew Smacher, Ryan Mandl, Matthew Chase, Tait and Teague Stahovic; and also Cole Smacher.
Masks and face coverings are required at all times at the funeral home and please practice social distancing while paying your respects.
