It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard D. Shinal (Bear Creek, Pennsylvania), born in Wilkes Barre Township, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 1, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Shinal and Ann Bobyak Shinal; his wife Dorothy C. Palkiewicz Shinal; his daughter-in-law Mollie Shinal; his brothers, John S. and Gerald Shinal; his children, Eugene Shinal, Mary Jo Wood (Gary Wood), Susan Chandler (Mark) and John G. Shinal (Arayeh); his daughter-in-law Kathy Shinal of Fairfax, VA; his siblings, Eleanor Kluchinski of Wilkes, Mary Ann Ewasko of Wilkes and Richard Shinal (Jean); and his sister-in-law Antoinette Shinal. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
