She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Vernon B. Carpenter; her children, Harry Carpenter (Karen), Sarah Olsen (Michael) and Jack Carpenter (Marilyn); her grandchildren, Carolyn Andrews (Tyler), James Carpenter (Holly), Rebecca Platt (Jody), Jonathan Carpenter, Kathryn Olsen and Matthew Olsen; and her great grandchildren, William, Caleb, Ellie, Kaylee, Lily and Jackie.
The family asks that all donations be made to Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church, 384 Fox Chapel Road, Pittsburgh PA 15238 in lieu of flowers.
