He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Patricia Hillenbrand (Cienek) and Raymond Hillenbrand; his wife Kimberly Hillenbrand (Carr); his children, Amber Shannon (Raviv), David Hillenbrand Jr. (Sidney) and Stephanie Lonzo (James); his grandchildren, Caleb, Jacob, Makenzie, Michael, Andee Mae, Brayden, Liam, Eliana, Elijah David and Lillian Vaughn; his goddaughter Samantha Dieguez; his siblings, Raymond G. Hillenbrand (Marlene) and Patricia C. Butterini (late William); his parents-in-law, Glenora and Warren Carr; and his siblings-in-law, Warren Carr (Susie) and Kristi Yokel (Robert).
