He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mercadante and Roberta Mercadante (Pfaff); his grandchild Meghan; his son John Mecadante; and his siblings, William Mercadante, Joy Torbic (Rodney), Rose Durkin (late Tom) and Judy Cheuvront (Clarence).
He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Mercadante (Turkovich); his children, Gary Mercadante (Sharlene), Ronald Paul Mercadante (Renee), Lisa Danylo, Stephen Petterson (Tina) and Heather Dengel (Ted); his grandchildren, Jenna (Patrick), Colleen, Stephanie, Madison, Chuck, Tori, Zachary, Isaiah, Severin and Finnian; his siblings, Marlene Persi (late Louis), Gerald Mercadante (Janet), Dennis Mercadante (Joan), Eleanor Gray (Ken), Clarence Mercadante (Ann), Dale Mercadante (Toni) and Leigh Rae Helms (late Tim); his sisters-in-law, Beverly Anderson (late George) and Diane Knapp (Robert); his pet Romeo; and his cousins, Gene and Joann Levato.
Due to COVID 19 pandemic, a private memorial luncheon will be held at a later date.
