He was predeceased by: his brothers, Lester and Delbert. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his son James Niehenke Jr. (Christine) of Baden; his stepdaughter Kelly (Brad); his grandchildren, Megan Shively, Bradley Shively of Pittsburgh, Lindsay Niehenke (Eric Razo) of Akron Ohio and Jacob Niehenke of Baden; his sister Sally Kanouff of Baden; his sisters-in-law, Deborah Keblitsch of Wyalusing, Judith Hewitt Seymour (Thomas) of Tennessee and Jean Niehenke of Beaver; and his close friend Michael Riley of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews along with special cousins.
