He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Tedys and Anna Tedys; and his sisters, Delores Stepanik, Steffie Maier, Sally Marshall, Carol Golixer and Mary Jane.
He is survived by: his wife Elvira Tedys (Bufalini); his children, David Tedys (Sharon) of North Sewickley, Andrea Wise (Michael) of North Sewickley, Dan Tedys (Holly) of Emsworth and Amy Edder (Greg) of Conway; and his sister Rebecca Strano. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
