He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Anna and Truman Cole; his parents, Laura Stack and Edwin Stack; his brothers, Lawrence Stack, Donald Stack and Charles Johnson; his son-in-law Mike Kovacs; his uncle William Cole; and his cousin Joyce Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Blackley Cole; his daughters, Lorraine (Robert Meredith), Renee (Randy Rosenberger) and Andrea (Rich Rose); and his brother Edwin Johnson. He is also survived by many sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family suggests that contributions may be directed to the North Rome Christian School, 3376 North Rome Road, Rome, PA 18837 in memory of James R. Cole.
