He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Beatty and Bertha Beatty; his wife Phyllis Ann Beatty; and his brother Robert Beatty (Barbara). He is survived by: his daughter Ann Marie Malone (William); his grandchildren, Alexandra Malone and Samuel Malone (Aly); and his sister Helen Hale (Philip). He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews and 21 great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, an offering in Mr. Beatty's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, Tennessee 39105 would be greatly appreciated.
