He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Cavanaugh, Sr. and Anna Ruth Cavanaugh (Burnheter); his sisters, Ruth, Maryann and Eleanor; and his wife Geri.
He is survived by: his children, Rita Dundon (Daniel) of Ambler, Kelly DeTommaso (Michael) of Harleysville and Kathleen Cavanaugh of Reading; his grandchildren, Sean Dundon (Chelsea) of Horsham, Nick Dundon (Hilary) of Erdenheim, Leah DeTommaso of Harleysville, Michael DeTommaso of Harleysville, Hannah Fassbender of Reading, Dylan Fassbender of Reading and Holden Fassbender of Reading; and his great grandchildren, Jack, Freddy and Charlie Dundon.
