He was predeceased by: his children, James L. Ickes and Sharon K. Wolf; his granddaughter Michele Wolf; and his siblings, Shirley Wombacher and David R. Ickes.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy E. Wilt; his children, Becky S. Ickes of Altoona and Randy J. Ickes (Beth); his grandchildren, Michael Wolf, Jamie Morris (David), Vanessa Moore, Brittany Logan and Alex Ickes; and his brother William E. Ickes. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
