He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Reed and Ethel M. Reed (Blyler); his siblings, Mary Lou Clatterbaugh and Michael David Reed; and his stepbrother Rudy Blyler.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki R. Musselman; his children, Patrick W. Reed, Jr. (Jane) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Michael D. Reed of Connecticut, Brian S. Reed (Nikki) of Petersburg and Jessica R. Hunter (Adam) of Duncansville; his grandchildren, Michael Scarpelli, Brandon Reed, Bailey Reed, Daylon Reed, Cody Sneath and Brayden Reed; and his siblings, Harry Reed (Mary) of Stafford, VA and Regina Felus of York. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
