Donna D. Russell Obituary

Donna Davis Russell, 66, of Altoona, passed away Saturday. She was born in Munich, Germany, daughter of the late James and June (Newell) Davis.

Surviving are her partner of 26 years, Brenda Hicks; a sister, Dorris; and 2 brothers: Bobby and Earl.

Donna was preceded in death by her brother Billy.

She served in the US Airforce for 10 years, working in air traffic control.

Donna enjoyed the beach and fishing.

“Bobby, Earl and Doris, 'I'm very sorry for your loss of your sister Donna' Please know that Donna was well taken care of by me and Hospice while she was sick. We did everything possible to keep her pain free and comfortable the last month of her life. Your sister was a beautiful person inside and out. She was loved by all who knew her. She always smiled and was a very caring person. She is greatly missed by myself and the children & Grandchildren who loved her so much.”
