She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hoffman and Marie Hoffman (Lacher); her spouse Thomas A. McCarthy; and her sisters, Mildred Walther and Dorothy Kleppner.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas J. McCarthy (Joyce) of Hampton Township, Daniel J. McCarthy (Suzanne), David J. McCarthy (Robin) of Hampton Township, Stephen J. McCarthy (Maria) of Center Valley, PA, Deborah J. Michaelson (Charles) of Portland, OR and Mark J. McCarthy (Karen) of Richland Township; and her brother Joseph Hoffman. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
