He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Boland and Mary Elizabeth Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Boland; his children, Albert Boland (Sarah), Michael Boland (Liz) and Erin Dennison (Reggie); his grandchildren, Meghan, Emma, Ethan, Hayden, Iyla, Vanessa, Harper and Duron; his stepmother Evelyn Boland; his siblings, Michael Boland, James Boland, Rita Drury, Daniel Boland, Robert Boland and Michelle Boland; his brother-in-law Tony; and his sister Linda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Allegheny County requires masks, social distancing and a limit of 25 persons in the funeral home at one time.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Rich's name be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.org).
