She was predeceased by: her parents, John Good and Marie Good (Gigler); and her husband Charles "Red" Downing. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Hoyt (Ed), Kenneth Downing (Michelle), Robert Downing (Julie), Richard Downing (Linda), Charles Downing (Jodi), Michael Downing, Thomas Downing (Laurie), Ronald Downing, Jamie Downing and Brett Lovett; her siblings, Jack Good, Judith Good and David Good; and her sister-in-law Jane Hoerner. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
