He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hilda Bartek and Spilka, MD; his wife Sarah Kearns Spilka; and his cousins, Kathleen Toomey, MD (Michael) and Patricia Spencer. He was also cherished by two great-grandchildren.
