She was predeceased by: her husband William J. Kester, Sr.; her close friend James Phillips; her parents, Charles Counterman and Lillian VanWhy; her daughter Kristine; her granddaughter Tracy Harris; and her siblings, Joan Pysher, Patricia Jones, Gloria Rohrbach and Andrew Hummer.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Kester of Allentown, William Kester Jr. (Brenda DeRosa) of Emmaus and Michael Kester (Terral) of Allentown; her grandchildren, Jason Kester, Stephanie Gerlette and Brian Harris; her great grandchildren, Braiden Gerlette, Alex Harris, Marley Harris and Braydon Harris; and her siblings, Lillian Kelson, Emma Frace of Nazareth, Kathann Kelson of Mt. Bethel and George Hummer of Saylorsburg.
