He was predeceased by: his spouse Sandra Knell (Herrick); and his parent George Knell. He is survived by: his parent Sarah Knell (Chevron); and his brother Leonard Knell (Geraldine) of Staten Island. He is also survived by four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
