He was predeceased by: his parents, Magnus Wesley Hughes and Dollie May Hughes; and his sister Eunice. He is survived by: his wife Beth Ball of Hermiston; his siblings, Muriel Porter of Astoria, OR and Clyde Hughes of Rexburg, ID; his children, Renee Pollick (Jim Davis) of Hermiston, Lori Varnum (Patrick) of Prineville, OR, Michael Hughes (Yvonne Michel) of Kennewick, WA and Larry Brower (Teresa) of Hermiston; and his stepdaughters, Donna Van Dis (Fred) of Roseburg, OR and Rene Gutierrez (Kent) of Hermiston. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren.
