He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Bales; his children, Shelly Dockins (Joe Dockins), Sondra Yamanaka and Kevin Bales (Kelley Bales); his grandchildren, Kelly Tryon, Taylor Dockins, Tianna Dockins, Tristan, Carole Dockins, Brandon, Brooke Yamanaka, Amanda, Kenny Mertens, Tyler Bales, Katey, Juan Beltran, Sarah, Matt Ferchland, Allison, Jalen Holt, Cherai Bales and Rachel Munoz; his great grandchildren, Lucille, Jack, Arianna and Lynnea Dockins; his brothers, Don (Ruth), Boyd (Maxine) and Gary (Elsie Bales); his nephew Ronald Bales; and his nieces, Sharon Summers and Patsy Andrews.
