He was predeceased by: his brother Gilford of Pingree; his son-in-law Lloyd Waalen of Erhard; and also, Frank Brown of Pingree and Leona Brown of Pingree. He is survived by: his wife Tressa of Erhard, MN; his children, Gaylene Bader, Nancy Waalen and Rory Tompkins (Laura) of Milwaukie, OR; his grandchildren, Shyla Strandlien (Jerad Craik) of Bismarck, ND, Eric Bader of Bismarck, ND and Amanda Moreno (Cory) of Bismarck, ND; his great grandchildren, Braydon Bader, Cailyn Gene Craik and Brenden Craik; his stepgreat-grandson Landon Ottesen of Fargo; his brothers, Edwin Tompkins (Kathy) of Jacksonville, FL and Loyal Tompkins (Rhonda); and his siblings-in-law, Donna Tompkins of Jamestown and Howard Brown of Jamestown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
