He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Eastmoreland; his wife Patricia McHugh; his children, Nancy Wittig (Dirk), Bill (Jan), Dan, Donna Cooper (Joe), Jim (Shay) and John; his grandchildren, Andrew Wittig, Stephen Zumwalt, Amanda Batt, Kyle, Katie Cooper, Zach and Savannah Zumwalt; and his brother Eugene of Fresno. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his memory to the Ledding Library of Milwaukie Foundation (see below).
