She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Franklin Preston and Luvader Williams Preston; her husbands, John Glenn Boyd and Donald Jean Maxwell; her sister Jeannine Tillman; her nephews, Michael David Carroll and Anthony David Wilson; and her niece Aundrea Wilson.

She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Marie; her siblings, Louise "Bunnie" Beavis and Jim Franklin Preston (Sherry); her daughter Sheryl Rethwisch (Dave); and her stepchildren, Darlene Jacobs (Carl), Anita Maxwell and James Maxwell (Andrea). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
